Overview Specification
Product Information Modified Bielschowsky nerve staining solution is a typical silver plating staining method, the basic principle of which is that the fixed tissues and sections are immersed in silver solution, and then treated with a reducing agent, so that the silver particles are deposited in the axonal plasma of the axon to make it appear dark brown or black. Bielschowsky's stain is commonly used in the diagnosis and identification of certain neurological tumors. This stain is positive for neurofibromas and ganglioneuronal fibromas and negative for nerve sheath tumors.
