Introduction of Digital Pathology and Image Analysis

The traditional quantitative analysis of pathological samples uses manual counting under a microscope. Slides are digitized by a scanning device, and then the digital slides are analyzed in an objective manner at high speed and high resolution using trained artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms to assist pathologists in their work.
