Meet Alfa Cytology at the Cancer R&D 2024, Nov 18-20, 2024. We look forward to connecting with you and providing expert solutions for your cancer drug development projects.
Learn MoreThere are different types of leukemia. It is very important to have a perfect animal model of leukemia. Alfa Cytology provides acute myeloid leukemia (AML) animal model construction services, specifically for customers to design and build animal models with AML phenotypes. Our AML modeling service covers a variety of AML model designs to provide you with the most effective AML animal models.
Although the genetics of AML have been better understood since the last century, the treatment of most patients has not changed and the survival rate is still very low. The difficulty of AML treatment has led many researchers to develop more animal models of AML to increase the success rate of clinical trials, find new targets, and test new therapies. With the development of biotechnology, gene editing has timely and completely changed the generation mode of the mouse leukemia model, which makes the construction of a variety of AML models possible and greatly reproduces the occurrence of leukemia.

Acute myeloid leukemia is one of the most common, complex, and heterogeneous hematological malignancies. Animal models provide a valuable tool for reproducing different AML subtypes and assessing the potential role of novel and known mutations in disease progression. Alfa Cytology provides comprehensive animal model development services for AML, including but not limited to the following.
We offer chemical-induced AML model services, which include L1210, P388, P1534, and L5178Y models. The well-established L1210 model, induced by 3-methylcholestene in DBA/2 mice, has been extensively utilized in cytarabine studies.
Drawing from our knowledge of viral-based model generation methods, we offer AML model design services utilizing MuLV and MOL4070LTR viruses.
Through the integration of fusion genes into the genome of the desired animal, we specialize in developing animal models that exhibit constitutive and inducible expression of AML fusion genes. In addition to the fusion genes listed, we offer a wide range of other fusion genes to meet your specific requirements.

We offer animal model design services for genes involved in signal transduction pathways, including KRAS, KIT, and FLT3-TKD. The models we provide are highly suitable for simulating the activation of these specific signal transduction pathways.
To elucidate the involvement of crucial epigenetic modifiers frequently observed in AML, we offer an animal model that simulates mutations associated with AML-related epigenetic modifications. Genes such as DNMT3A, TET2, ASXL1, and BCOR are commonly implicated in AML transcription factors or epigenetic modifications.
Furthermore, to investigate the impact of co-mutations on the pathogenesis of AML, we offer an AML model featuring Trp53 mutation or a model involving simultaneous mutations with other genes.
By employing an immunodeficiency model, we conducted heterotopic or in situ injections of AML patient tumor fragments to generate PDX models. Our immunodeficiency model offers a high transplantation rate, significantly enhancing the success rate of AML model development.
We offer a humanized animal model by genetically modifying and transplanting human CD34+ hematopoietic cells into immunodeficient animals. This model enables the study of the leukemogenic potential of mutations and chromosome aberrations commonly found in AML. Our CD34+ cell transplantation services include the expression of AML-related genes, such as KMT2A-MLLT3 and DEK-NUP214 fusion genes, to generate AML models.
To gain insights into the progression of leukemia, we provide services for constructing AML animal models that express luciferase. This allows for direct observation of AML development through fluorescence signals emitted by tumor cells expressing AML luciferase.
The AML animal models we provide are mammalian mice, rats, and non-mammalian fruit flies, zebrafish. Multiple models have been developed for the study of AML. If you are unable to find the specific model you require or need a customized model, please submit an online inquiry.
Alfa Cytology offers AML animal models and AML model design services to assist in your research into AML mechanisms, drug development, and the exploration of new therapeutic targets. Please contact us if you have any questions or need more information about our services.
