Cancer R&D 2024 has wrapped up successfully. We’re grateful for your interest and interaction with Alfa Cytology. We’re eager to continue providing our expertise in cancer drug development. Let’s look back on these memorable moments!
Learn MoreAlfa Cytology specializes in the general toxicology of leukemia drugs and is your ideal partner in leukemia drug development projects. Our experienced team can undertake toxicological testing of chemicals, vaccines, macromolecular medicines, and biological products, and provide high-standard general toxicity research services.
By identifying and evaluating potential harmful effects, toxicology aims to ensure the safe and responsible utilization of chemicals or drugs. In the context of drug testing for leukemia, it is essential to evaluate the safety and potential toxic effects of the drug before proceeding to the next stage or determining its optimization and selection. This evaluation process enables informed decisions regarding the drug's viability and helps ensure patient safety.

We focus on advanced technology and automation and have several high-throughput screening platforms to provide customers with fast, efficient, and high-quality data to accelerate drug development. In addition, we offer safety pharmacology services to our clients.
Acute Toxicity Testing
The acute toxicity after administration was evaluated in this experiment. We administered the drug to an animal model of leukemia at different doses by oral or intravenous injection and observed its behavior, body weight change, mortality, and other indicators. This helps to determine the safe dose range of the drug and to initially assess its acute toxicity.
Chronic Toxicity Testing
The experiment assessed the chronic toxic effects of long-term or repeated administration. We used drugs to treat leukemia model animals for a period of time, and then regular observation and detection, including body weight changes, organ function, hematological indicators, histopathology, and so on. This helps us to evaluate the safety and potential chronic toxic effects of drugs for long-term use.
Reproductive Toxicity Testing
The effects of drugs on reproductive system toxicity, reproductive ability, embryonic development, and fetal development were evaluated by observation of reproductive ability and reproductive organs, embryotoxicity test, and embryonic developmental toxicity test.
Genotoxicity Testing
Because leukemia comes from genetic variation, it is important to test the genotoxicity of leukemic drugs. We provide common methods including a bacterial mutation test, mouse bone marrow chromosome aberration test, mouse lymphoma test, and so on.
Alfa Cytology has internationally accredited laboratories and has a professional team and rich experience in drug safety evaluation to conduct a comprehensive early toxicological assessment. We are pleased to use our advanced technology to help you accelerate the development of leukemia drug projects. Please contact us if you are interested in our services or would like to know more.
