Meet Us at Cancer R&D 2024!

Alfa Cytology proudly participated in Cancer R&D 2024, presenting “Designing Your Preclinical Cancer Modeling Mouse Studies.” In our presentation, we outlined the essential steps in research design: clarifying objectives and hypotheses to set a clear research direction; selecting appropriate preclinical models, such as CDX or PDX, tailored to the research goals; implementing strategies like randomization and blinding, establishing control groups, and conducting thorough analyses; determining sample size while considering statistical power and biological representation; balancing efficacy and safety for dose and route planning; and utilizing various tools to comprehensively evaluate treatment results across multiple dimensions.
