Senior Scientist, Analytical Research & Development

Since pancreatic cancer (PC) is one of the most lethal malignancies with late clinical presentation, early metastasis, and poor prognosis. To improve the diagnosis and treatment of PC, there is an urgent need to find inexpensive, non-invasive, or minimally invasive biomarkers with high sensitivity and specificity. We are committed to helping our global customers advance their progress in PC biomarker discovery and analysis.

We are currently seeking an experienced and highly skilled scientist to join our analytical science department. In this position, the employee is required to have excellent analytical and technical skills to develop and validate our analytical methodologies for PC biomarker discovery, contributing to our goal of advancing PC research and accelerating biotechnology adoption.

Key Tasks/Accountabilities:

  • Engage in experiments for biomarker development projects with a focus on multi-molecular biology methods.
  • Responsible for the development, optimization, and implementation of standard working procedures.
  • Design, implementation, and evaluation of experimental methods and appropriateness of sample preparation.
  • Conducting theoretical research activities.
  • Experimental report writing and presentation of research results.
  • Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support for customer inquiries.
  • Other duties are assigned according to qualifications.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. in genetics, genomics, molecular cell biology, or related fields.
  • Five years of experience in molecular cell biology research and understanding of biomarker development such as protein molecules.
  • Experience in biomarker discovery and development is preferred.
  • Practical experience in working with analytical systems
  • Management experience is preferred.
  • Must be detail-oriented with demonstrated ability in problem-solving and analysis.
  • Strong problem-solving and analysis capabilities.
  • Ability to work and communicate well within a team.
  • Able to work under stress.
