Business Development Associate

Full-time New York, United States

Although we are a science-based company, scientific knowledge is not required. Whether you are a scientist, a technician, or a business, IT, HR, marketing, sales or administrative professional, we have excellent opportunities for you. We are looking for a highly motivated sales manager who will be responsible for PC development and drug development services business development, identifying and cultivating opportunities with new and existing customers through outbound and inbound travel inquiries.

Key Tasks/Accountabilities:

  • Explore and cultivate potential customers and build relationships with client project teams which result in client satisfaction.
  • Maintain good communication with customers and grasp their needs in real-time.
  • Collect front-line marketing information and user opinions to provide a reference base for the company's marketing strategy and after-sales service.
  • Identify potential services and related products, attend scientific meetings and trade/vendor shows.
  • Collaborate effectively with relevant departments within the company, and solve the problems that arise while working on projects.
  • Play weekly/monthly sales activities.
  • Coordinate and liaise with key opinion leaders for sponsorship and educational visits.
  • Other duties as assigned according to qualifications.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Ability to master and communicate technology
  • No sales experience is needed.
  • Collaborate with researchers, analyze and interpret experimental data, and provide statistical and other support.
  • Experience in a commercial or sales role is preferred.
  • Good communication skills, conscientious and hardworking, with a strong sense of responsibility towards work.
  • Strong problem-solving and analysis capabilities.
  • The ability to work under stress.
