Pancreatic Cancer Cell Research

Pancreatic Cancer Cell Research

Alfa Cytology is a leading provider of basic research and drug development for pancreatic cancer (PC). With experienced teams of scientists, researchers, and technicians, we provide fast turnaround and high-quality services at competitive prices for worldwide customers.

Introduction to Pancreatic Cancer Cell

Pancreatic cancer is characterized by dense and fibrotic stroma and high interstitial pressure. Therefore, pancreatic cancer tumor cells face hypoxia and nutrient deficiency. At the same time, pancreatic cancer cells exhibit extraordinary growth advantages. The pancreatic cancer cell line is a perfect model for studying the broader biological and molecular properties. Currently, some of the available cell lines are obsolete. We aim to build a biological cell bank composed of pancreatic cancer cell lines to facilitate pancreatic cancer research. Therefore, there is an urgent need to establish and develop additional biological resources to facilitate these studies.

Pancreatic cancer is highly heterogeneous at morphological, cellular and molecular levels.Fig. 1 pancreatic cancer microenvironment and the cellular interplay. (Truong, L.H & Pauklin, S.; et al., 2021)
