Spontaneous Tumor Model Development Services

Alfa Cytology is committed to providing our clients with one-stop spontaneous tumor model development services, aiming to provide reliable, reproducible and translatable models that accurately reflect human disease, to accelerate the process of translating from the lab to therapy.

Overview of Spontaneous Tumor Models

The spontaneous tumor models are among the first used animal models for cancer research and for evaluation of chemopreventive agents, which mimics the natural occurrence and progression of animal tumors without the need for external carcinogens. The main feature of spontaneous tumor models is their ability to replicate the stochastic nature of tumorigenesis and progression influenced by genetic susceptibility and environmental factors.

Due to specific genetic backgrounds, different animal species have different susceptibility to spontaneous tumors. Spontaneous tumor models typically involve the use of genetically engineered mice (GEMs) or other animal models that naturally produce tumors due to specific genetic modifications. These models provide a reliable platform for studying complex interactions in the tumor microenvironment, genetic mutations, and the overall dynamics of tumor growth.

Our Services

Leveraging the well-established technology platform of the tumor microenvironment center, Alfa Cytology offers a wide range of spontaneous tumor models for specific types of cancers and can customize modeling solutions for specific project needs. We follow the latest research and industry standards to ensure that each model accurately reflects the biology of the respective human disease.

Spontaneous Tumor Models Available

Alfa Cytology has bred spontaneous tumor models for a variety of cancer types, some examples of which are listed below. Our service list is constantly being updated and improved, and you can contact us by email for more up-to-date and relevant information.
