Brain Tumor Modeling Services
Brain tumors have a special location and are prone to compress various nerves during the progressive stage of the disease, causing different degrees of damage to patients. The complexity of brain tissues is much higher than other tissues in the human body, which makes it objectively more difficult to treat. The etiology of some of these brain tumors is still unknown to us, and there is a dearth of treatments. Scientists need to continue to explore the pathogenic mechanisms of these brain tumors and develop appropriate drugs. Both mechanistic studies and the development of new drugs require appropriate animal models, therefore, Alfa Cytology is actively working to establish a variety of animal models for brain tumor research to help you study the pathogenesis of brain tumors and treatment options.
We provide customization services for special brain tumors model
Brain tumor PDX model building services
The PDX model we constructed not only preserves the heterogeneity of brain tumors, and mutations of key genes but also maintains the relevant activity of each pathway during the transmission process. We have optimized the PDX model to meet your preclinical brain tumor research needs by targeting various issues that may arise in brain tumor research.
Brain tumor CDX model building services
We establish CDX models by screening human brain tumor cells in vitro, passing them through generations, culturing them to establish stable cell lines, and then injecting the tumor cells into immunodeficient mice. This provides our clients with the critical decision-making information they need to advance their brain tumor therapeutics and facilitate preclinical development programs in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Transgenic animal model building services
Transgenic animals have become a powerful tool for studying the molecular biology of brain tumorigenesis, we offer our customers the service of preparing transgenic animal models of brain tumors that better mimic the histopathological and molecular characteristics of human brain tumors and exhibit better genetic heterogeneity. It can reflect the brain tumor cells themselves and the cellular and other interactions in the tumor microenvironment.
Animal model building services for brain metastases
We can prepare homologous and heterologous brain metastasis models to help you study the interactions between tumor cells and the host microenvironment as well as brain tumor therapeutic measures. Allogenic brain metastasis models are further divided into orthotopic models and ectopic models. Ectopic models are more stable than orthotopic models and can be used for the study of therapeutic measures.
In situ transplantation model of brain tumors
We have constructed mouse intracranial tumorigenesis models and glioma animal models. This provides a reliable research model for our customers to study the effect of tumor microenvironment on the occurrence of malignant meningioma, glioma, and other brain tumors, their development, and tumor invasion to surrounding tissues.
Virus-induced brain tumors model
Viruses are widely used as carcinogens because of their short latency period for tumor production and relatively high rate of brain tumor production with a wide species range. We can build viral-induced brain tumor models for our customers, which are well suited for studying the effects of radiation/chemotherapy in glioma.
Organoid model building for glioblastoma
To address the limitations of in vitro models in the simulation of glioblastoma growth microenvironment and therapeutic studies, we provide glioblastoma organoid model construction services, allowing you to dynamically observe the growth characteristics of glioblastoma within the organoid, which can be used to better characterize tumor treatment and screen for drugs to treat glioblastoma.
Customized services for special brain tumors model
We can build cerebral aneurysm models and large animal models of glioma. With the animal models established by us, you can study the origin, differentiation, and aging process of neural cells, the mechanism of synapse and neural loop formation, the role of glial cells in the function of the nervous system, and the pathogenesis of glioma and cerebral aneurysm.
Preformed fibrils for brain tumors model
With PFFs, we can create a model that more closely matches the features found in neurodegenerative diseases. We use high-quality monomers of high purity, concentration, and correct conformation to induce PFFs at a high success rate to mimic naturally occurring pathologies and pathological processes to aid research in brain tumor science.
Blood brain barrier model
We provide you with reliable and scientific in vitro blood-brain barrier models to solve the problem of the large deviation of the existing 2D cellular and animal models from in vivo, to facilitate your in-depth study of the pathophysiological state of the blood-brain barrier and a variety of related brain diseases.
Animal disease models are mainly used for physiopathology, toxicology, pharmacology, and pharmacokinetic studies. The animal models established by Alfa Cytology can mimic human brain tumor types, which can help you understand the development of different types of brain tumors more easily and effectively so that you can study the treatment measures earlier. Please feel free to contact us to customize your needs.
All of our services and products are intended for preclinical research use only and cannot be used to diagnose, treat or manage patients.
