Custom Animal Models of Leukemia

By building an animal model of leukemia, researchers can gain an in-depth understanding of the pathological mechanism of leukemia, develop new treatments, and evaluate the effectiveness of drugs. Alfa Cytology provides you with animal model design services for leukemia to support your research into hot areas of leukemia. Whether building different models or building animal models for different types of leukemia, we can provide you with animal model design services.

Function Roles of Animal Models of Leukemia

Due to ethical and moral considerations, it is not feasible to replicate the pathology and genetic mechanisms of leukemia directly in the human body. Consequently, leukemia animal models play a crucial role in leukemia treatment and previous research, enabling their potential use in clinical settings. These animal models can mimic human genetic conditions and the cellular growth environment, allowing controlled experimental conditions to test responses and mechanisms. They also enable the evaluation of discrepancies between in vivo and in vitro settings and the translation of findings into predicted clinical outcomes. Establishing an accurate leukemia model is particularly vital due to the close relationship between leukemia subtypes, their driving oncogenes, and their originating cells.

Our Services

Animal Models of Leukemia

Spontaneous models We screen animals with naturally developed leukemia, identify the phenotype of leukemia, and provide screening and identification services for spontaneous leukemia models.
Chemical induction models We provide chemical induction services for leukemia models, utilizing chemicals or radiation, including substances like 3-methylcholanthrene.
Xenograft models We offer specialized leukemia models, including patient-derived xenograft (PDX) models and cell line derived xenograft (CDX) models. In these models, leukemia animal models are generated by implanting the patient's tumor tissue or leukemia cell line into immunodeficient animals.
Syngeneic models Our design service for Syngeneic models aims to transplant tumor cell lines back into hosts with the same genetic background and immune capacity. This approach establishes an immune-competent model, enabling the evaluation of immunotherapy effectiveness.
Genetically engineered models By utilizing genetic engineering technology, we introduce leukemia-related genes of interest into the animal genome, resulting in the generation of a leukemia animal model. To ensure efficient delivery and minimize interference from other genes, we employ lentiviruses, providing you with an effective and reliable leukemia model.
