Breast Cancer Multiplex Immunohistochemical

Breast Cancer Multiplex Immunohistochemical

Introduction of Multiplex Immunohistochemical

Multiplex immunohistochemistry (mIHC) is a multiple sequential immunostaining technique based on tyramide signal amplification, which can simultaneously detect multiple targets on a single cell or tissue sample. And it can comprehensively study cell composition, cell function, and cell-cell interaction. mIHC technology can play a key role in promoting tumor immunology and oncology research, promoting individualized medicine, and assisting the discovery of biomarkers. In complex samples such as breast cancer (BC) tumors, mIHC can be used to study cell (population)-cell (population) interactions, explore BC tumor mechanisms, and identify immunosuppressive tumor microenvironments.

Our Services

Alfa Cytology can provide you with BC multiplex Immunohistochemical services, through multi-target pathological staining and imaging analysis, mIHC can accurately determine the phenotype, abundance, status, and relationship of different immune cell subsets in situ in tumor tissue. It can quantitatively describe the actual state of the tumor immune microenvironment, and provide auxiliary support for the formulation of personalized immunotherapy strategies. The customer provides material requirements:

Sample type Sample requirements Storage method Shipping requirements
Tissue sections (Number of test samples + 4) × Number of indicators Store at room temperature Transport at room temperature
Wax block Intact wax block containing tumor tissue
Fresh tissue Soak in 10% formalin solution

Relying on the advanced mIHC platform, we launched a panorama analysis solution for BC tumor immune microenvironment. Panoramic analysis of the infiltration of killer T cells, macrophages, B cells, tertiary lymphoid structures, and immune checkpoint receptors in the tumor immune microenvironment. Comprehensively evaluate the prognosis of patients and the efficacy of immunosuppressant therapy, and explore the relationship and clinical molecular mechanism between the tumor immune microenvironment and tumor development, recurrence, metastasis, and drug resistance mechanisms.

Advantages of mIHC

  • Dual advantages of in situ display and quantitative analysis
  • More comprehensive analysis, simultaneous analysis of drug targets and tumor microenvironment
  • Free combination of different targets, multi-target colocalization staining, and signal splitting
  • Demonstrate spatial relationships and distinguish different cell subpopulations

mIHC Application Fields

  • BC tumor microenvironment
  • BC tumor immune infiltration
  • Cell senescence/apoptosis/ferroptosis/autophagy
  • Other fields that require simultaneous detection of multiple protein targets
